SlideyAI operates the website slideyai.com and provides an AI-powered presentation generation service. When this policy says "we", "us", or "SlideyAI", it refers to the operators of slideyai.com.

We collect the following information when you use SlideyAI:

• Account information — your name and email address, collected when you sign up via Clerk (our authentication provider).
• Presentation topics— the text you enter as your topic when generating a presentation. This is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate content.
• Reference images — if you optionally upload an image, it is processed by Claude Vision to extract style information and is not stored beyond the request.
• Usage data — basic usage information such as how many presentations you have generated, used for enforcing plan limits and improving the service.
• Log data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, automatically collected by our hosting provider (Vercel).

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the SlideyAI service
• Generate your presentations using AI
• Send your generated PowerPoint file to your email address
• Enforce usage limits (Free plan: 3 presentations/month)
• Send occasional product updates or important service notices
• Improve the quality of the service

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your presentation topics or content to train AI models.

SlideyAI uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has their own privacy policy:

• Clerk — handles user authentication and account management. Collects your email and name. See clerk.com/privacy.
• Resend — delivers your generated presentation to your email inbox. Your email address is shared with Resend for this purpose. See resend.com/privacy.
• Anthropic (Claude API)— processes your presentation topic to generate slide content. Anthropic's API terms apply to data sent for generation. See anthropic.com/privacy.
• Vercel — hosts the SlideyAI application and processes standard server log data. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Your presentation topics are not stored on our servers after your presentation is generated and delivered.

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to how we process your data
• Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it

SlideyAI uses cookies for authentication (managed by Clerk) and to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

SlideyAI is designed for students, including those under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately at presentations@slideyai.com.
